Hey there, I’m Fabio, a gentle giant with a heart full of love. Born by the sea in March 2021, I’ve grown into a large, handsome dog with a soft spot for people I trust. While I might be a bit reserved with strangers at first, once I warm up, I’ll shower you with affection. I’m easy-going with other dogs in my big group at the shelter, but I do like my food and attention, so sometimes I can get a bit protective. My friends say I’m a fast learner and eager to please, so with a little training and care, I’ll be the loyal, loving companion you’re looking for. I’m not one to demand too much, my energy level is pretty balanced, but I’d thrive with someone who can give me a bit of guidance and plenty of love.

Background

Fabio’s story began on a peaceful campsite by the sea, where he was born in March 2021 alongside his siblings. Unfortunately, life took a dangerous turn when they were threatened with poisoning, and Fabio, his brothers, and his mother Folie had to be rescued. At just 1-2 months old, they arrived at our shelter, seeking safety. While Fabio’s two brothers have since found loving homes, he’s still waiting for his forever family.

Fabio has been given the best care at the shelter, receiving all necessary vaccinations and treatments. Though he has a gentle nature, he can be a bit protective, especially around food and affection, but this only adds to his character. With the right guidance and training, Fabio will be an extraordinary companion, loyal and loving for years to come. Now healthy and ready for his next chapter, all Fabio needs is a family to open their hearts and give him the love he deserves.

After confirming your adoption, we’ll assist with travel logistics to bring your new friend home safely and cost-effectively. If you’re in Morocco or can visit, you’re welcome to pick up your dog directly from us and have a tour of the animal refuge.
